Functionality

Overview

The Platform UI is a Web Application that allows the user to browse and update their Kafka configuration.

Example use

A developer wants to create a Kafka topic. Rather than directly reaching the brokers with an admin client or instead of making API calls to the Platform Manager, the developer can click through this UI to create and configure their topics.

Installation

Helm Charts

As part of the Governance Helm charts, the Platform UI can be installed following the guide Axual Streaming & Governance Installation.

Logging

The component is static and does not emit any logging.

Metrics

The Platform UI does not emit any metrics, for metrics of the frontend refer to API Gateway and Platform Manager.
